PVC Lubricants

PVC lubricants consist of paraffin wax alone or in combination with calcium stearate and/or oxidized polyethylene wax. Lubricant packages may also be custom formulated to specific customer requirements. Depending on end use application, the products are either NSF or PPI certified. They are available in slab or pastille form.

Common uses are for extrusion of PVC pipe, conduit and profile.

Luxco 8008 calcium stearate is used in PVC extrusion as a lubricant additive. It is available in both granular and powder forms.
8688-A A combination of paraffin wax and calcium stearate used to provide external lubrication. Can also be used as a 2:1 replacement for calcium stearate where dust causes environmental concerns. Listed by NSF and PPI in their range formula.
