Fully refined paraffin waxes contain less than 0.5% oil. They are white in color and have a slight waxy odor. They comply with U.S. FDA regulations for food additive and food contact. They are available in liquid, slab or pastille form.
Common uses are for corrugated boxes, waxed papers, frozen food cartons and wrappers, paper cups, candles, cosmetics, rubber antioxidants, lumber end seal, adhesives, protective coatings, food additives, cheese dipping, crayons, moisture barriers, polishes, modeling clay, plus many other miscellaneous uses.
